sometimes i wonder why some people insist on using whatsapp for everything related to work.

documents, revisions, screenshots, approvals, all thrown into one scramble chat timeline.

i sent things properly through email, clear subject, attachment, organized enough so anyone could find it later.

but somehow, hours later, the same thing gets asked (again) – in whatsapp.

“have you send the file?”
“i did. i sent to to your email”
“… err. .. could you reshare again, in here (whatsapp)? ..”

imbecile.

whatsapp is terrible for long term stuff.

old images suddenly can’t be downloaded anymore. documents disappear. searching feels random because every discussion lives inside the same scrolling wall of messages mixed with “ok”, stickers, and unrelated notifications.

email may look old and boring, sure.

but at least it remembers things.

there’s subject lines. threads. searchable archives. context.

while chat apps feel like putting important papers into a plastic bag together with receipts and candy wrappers, then hoping future-you can still find them months later.

maybe people prefer whatsapp because it feels faster.

but sometimes “faster” just means creating future confusion earlier.
